When applying for membership, the following is a brief outline of what you can expect once we receive your application.
1. Upon receipt of your application, all information on the application is verified for accuracy and/or missing information. The payment will also be checked and you will be notified if there are any problems.
2. Once the information is verified, it will be entered into our membership database which is transmitted to the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. This step takes approximately 24-48 hours depending on volume of applications received. Once entered, you are entitled to membership benefits. However, your status will be held in a "Provisional" status until you have completed step 3.
3. Within 6 months from the date of application, all REALTOR® members must attend the New Member Orientation which is provided every other month beginning in January. Failure to complete the Orientation within the time allowed will result in your having to re-apply with the Association including all fees required.
Once you have successfully completed Orientation, your information is forwarded to the Board of Directors for approval.
